Pastor: Dr. Rocky Branch
Dr. Rocky Branch is the pastor of Spruce Pine First Baptist Church and the Mitchell County Baptist Association Prison Representative and Chaplain.
Dr. Rocky has been in prison since 1981. He has served in Avery, Mitchell, Burke and Mecklenburg counties. He also served 14 years in Polk County Florida serving in prisons. In prison he spends much of his time preaching and teaching inmates as well as ministering to the staff. He also spends time counseling and when opportunity presents itself he baptizes.
Dr. Rocky plans events and programs.
